We raffle the house of the famous German Novelist:

The picturesque four-guest-bedroom hotel is only 4 km away from St. Jean de Luz on the Atlantic Ocean, and only 5 km away from the Pyrenees.  In 2004, we fully renovated and remodeled this former pastry shop from 1750.  Thus, electricity, gas heating, and warm water are now state-of-the-art; and the house is hooked up to the sewer system.  Urrugne is a very typical Basque town, and as our hotel is centrally located, it is easy to get in touch with the locals and with other out-of-towners.  There’s a patio in front of the guest bedrooms, and a small garden with a view of the mountains.  The house has a total of two kitchens (the hotel kitchen and a private kitchen in the apartment/flat), four guest bedrooms, all of them with ensuite bathrooms with showers and toilets, and it can house up to 10 people.  The entrance and reception area, the salesroom of the former pastry shop (we now use this room as the breakfast room), a hearth room and the large  kitchen with access to the garden are all on the first floor/ground floor.
The second floor/first floor is separate from the hotel operations: Besides the kitchen, there’s an additional restroom, and a bathroom, with shower only, plus four small rooms, each of them with built-in cabinets.
The house is also suitable as a vacation home for a large family, and for those who choose to opt out, and are searching for a new livelihood.  Business was great during the seasons of 2005, 2006, 2007, and 2008.
